Nikki’s narrative thread (her story) can be traced back to dropping out of pre-med to earn multiple degrees in English Literature and Education. (B.A., B.A., minor in Psychology).

She soon stepped into the high school classroom as a 22-year-old with a rebellious desire to change, well, everything, about the curriculum.

Her days were spent arranging desks in circles so that her students could connect to the humanity of literature and one another. She lived to lead seminars covering The Color Purple, Catcher in the Rye, The House on Mango Street, Greek Mythology, and other fictional stories she felt could connect her students to their developing emotional intelligence.

After a few years, she felt the call to move beyond the classroom, but she never left her love for literature and the self-inquiry process it offered.

Running a therapeutic yoga company, Nikki found Katonah Yoga as developed by Nevine Michaan. A technique that synthesized myth, metaphor, and measured movements to lead students to a place of personal joy and well-being.

Her world of literature, words, and movement, collided. Leading private sessions for students, she assisted them in discovering and re-writing their own stories. She understood that each body was a book all in of itself, containing multitudes, patterns, emotions, and most importantly—potential.

This thread continued to create a life of joy for Nikki, and she soon rediscovered her love for astrology. Adding the magic of astrology to her sessions, Nikki was able to deepen the experience for her students.

Once her daughter was born (an Aries who survived a very traumatic entrance into this world) Nikki took time to adjust to her new role as a Mother. This gave her the time to stop pushing, rushing, and reaching out into the world. She went inward and integrated the many lives she was blessed to have already led.

With her Saturn Return approaching she knew that there was a Lost Dream to be Awakened.
